Crush Events guarantees your wedding will never go without a DJ.
We have a full-time backup system - every weekend, one of our DJs is on-call & paid to be available in case of emergencies.
If your booked DJ can’t make it, a replacement from our core team is immediately assigned.

Yes - Crush Events carries $1,000,000 per occurrence & $2,000,000 aggregate in liability coverage, which exceeds the requirements of most venues across California.
We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) directly to your venue or planner upon request, ensuring full compliance & peace of mind for your event.
Our DJs only need standard 120V power - one or two outlets for the PA system, lighting & DJ deck.
We’ve performed successfully at vineyards, barns, private estates & even off-grid events using generators.
If your venue requires a generator, we can help coordinate rental options.

Setup & teardown are not part of your 6-hour package - they’re handled entirely by our team.
Most DJs arrive 90 minutes early for setup & stay 30–90 minutes after for teardown.
We coordinate directly with your planner to ensure smooth transitions.

We offer hourly overtime options based on your DJ:
💰 $100–$300 per additional hour
You can decide in the moment - our DJs confirm with you before extending service.

We don’t require vendor meals, but they’re always appreciated.
Our DJs rarely take breaks — we usually eat quickly while keeping music going.
If you’d like to include us in your vendor meal count, thank you — it’s never expected but always noticed.

We respect every venue’s sound policy & always operate within local limits.
If your venue has strict decibel restrictions, our DJs can adjust placement, speaker direction, & volume to stay compliant.
We’re also familiar with local venues that enforce earlier curfews & can guide you through realistic timing.

We perform in light rain, heat, or cold — as long as our equipment is covered.
If there’s a risk of rain, please plan for a tent, canopy, or covered area.
